Speaking for myself the best support I received came from a little old lady, a retired counselor who of all people my employer found and paid for. I came out of the first hour or so with this lady like standing 10 feet tall. You would not believe what a trained small little old lady might be able to do for you in as little as 90 minutes as in my first session.

Now you could contact me directly (see contact above) but I'm just a stranger to you and far from qualified to help. Honstly the chances of a reply are remote because I'm only one man and get so much junk email I often miss important stuff. Speaking for myself and what might have helped me when I was in a bad place looking for support might have been reading my book 2/3rd the way down the home page. Its a bit of a trigger but once you realise your not on your own it might help.

Here are some more resources that can be useful to victims. Maybe speak to your doctor too. Mine were great! Don't forget it might be a bit hush hush but 1 in 20 can tell a similar story and doctors have heard almost everything. If you break your arm or leg, it might well not be your fault, you might have been hit by a car that mounted the pavement. You go to hospital and have it set in a plaster. In the same way if your thought patterns of despair, dread and worry take over every thought because of childhood tramua, sexual abuse its hardly your fault is it. Honestly a trained shrink can help you put your thought patterns into a better place. It can hardly be a childs fault if they have been led into making mistakes by an adult authority figure can it?

If your a child you can start with childline (in the UK.) They don't even need to know your name. They are well trained and have heard almost everything.
